Description & Specifications

1962 Fender Jazzmaster – Blond

We present an all original 1962 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Blond finish, made in Fullerton, California.

This rare pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is in excellent condition and comes complete with its original bridge cover, tremolo arm, and strap. Additionally, it includes the original instruction manual and matching-number hang tag. It’s all there!

Cosmetically, the guitar shows “buckle rash” on the back, along with various nicks and dings on the front and sides. There are a few areas of notable wear down to the bare ash, and a scattering of small scratches and marks on the back. The slim neck profile and headstock face are as clean as can be. This is an outstanding example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster in a custom color finish!

Powerful, resonant, and extremely versatile, this guitar delivers everything you’d expect from an instrument built during Fender’s golden era. It’s an exceptional and rare piece of history—both a top-tier collector’s item and a first-class player.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1962.

Pickups and electronics remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Fender brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
