1963 Fender Jazzmaster – Sonic Blue
We present an all original 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sonic Blue finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1963 Fender Jazzmaster features one of the most sought-after Custom Colors, making it extremely rare. Cosmetically, this pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is in excellent condition. It’s 100% original throughout and 100% complete, with no breaks or repairs. Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1963. It even comes with its original tremolo arm, bridge cover, strap, and Fender instruction manual.
It shows minor wear on the back, with a few nicks, dings, and other cosmetic signs of use. The neck profile and back of the headstock are also in great shape, with only minor wear. The original black bottom pickups are well-balanced, strong, and sound absolutely incredible. The original Sonic Blue finish has retained its blue tone, though in certain light some areas appear to have shifted slightly toward a lighter green.
Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dot inlays. The original nut and frets are in perfect condition. Acoustically, the guitar has a commanding tone that translates beautifully through the two original black bobbin pickups.
Pickups and electronics/wiring are untouched and completely intact—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct. No breaks, no repairs!
Comes with its original Fender white tolex hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
