1963 Fender Jazzmaster – Sonic Blue
We present an all original 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sonic Blue finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1963 Fender Jazzmaster has one of the most sought after Custom Colors and it’s therefore extremely rare. Cosmetically, this pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is in great condition. It’s all original and 100% complete with no breaks or repairs. Even comes with its original tremolo arm, bridge cover, strap and the Fender instruction manual. It shows minor wear on the back, few nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Also the neck profile and back of the headstock are great with minor nicks and dings. The original black “bottom” pickups are very balanced/strong and sound incredibly good. The original Sonic Blue finish has remained blue, but at the same time (depends on the light) there are some spots where it has turned lighter green.
Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots. The original nut and frets are in perfect shape. Acoustically, the guitar has a very authoritative sound that translates well through the two original black bobbin pickups.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct. no breaks or any repairs!
Comes with its original Fender white tolex hardshell case, Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
