1963 Gibson ES-330 TD – Sunburst
We present an original 1963 Gibson ES-330 TD in its original Sunburst finish, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This 1963 Gibson ES-330 TD was produced during an iconic era when countless jazz and blues players chose Gibson for the tones that defined their sound. Today, the ES-330 remains a popular choice and has become a favorite all-around guitar for many players. It features classic P-90 pickups, delivering the unmistakable ’60s tone that helped make Gibson guitars legendary at the Kalamazoo factory.
Condition
Overall, this fantastic Gibson ES-330 is in very good+ condition, with some nicks, dings, and general cosmetic play wear. The original Sunburst finish is stunning, and the lightweight maple body features beautiful grain and Birdseye figuring. The rosewood fretboard with block inlays is striking, and the original frets still have plenty of life left. The mahogany neck shows some play wear but remains in overall good condition.
Originality
This Gibson is all original and 100% complete, except for a newly handcrafted nylon nut. Otherwise it’s exactly like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1963. The one-piece mahogany neck has a C-shaped profile that gains a bit of depth in the higher registers and features a full 1-11/16″ nut width.
The original Kluson Deluxe single-line tuners are intact, complete with their original white buttons. The serial number is clearly visible on the back of the headstock, and the “Gibson” logo is inlaid in pearl on the headstock face.
The bridge is the original nickel ABR-1 Tune-o-Matic. The original nickel trapeze tailpiece is intact, along with the stock pickguard, switch tip, pickup covers, and gold reflector cap knobs.
The pickups and electronics remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All components are original and correct.
Includes the original Gibson hardshell case. The latches function perfectly, and the handle has been replaced with a newer one.
