1963 Gibson SG Special – Polaris White
We present an all original 1963 Gibson SG Special in its original Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson SG Special is 100% original and complete — even including its original hang tag. It’s exactly like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1963. It features the original compensated wraparound tailpiece, bound rosewood fretboard, and two “3 on a strip” Kluson tuners. The lightweight, one-piece mahogany body offers remarkable resonance — it’s incredibly lively and acoustically clear.
The original Gibson P-90 pickups sound phenomenal and are exceptionally well-balanced. They absolutely roar, delivering everything from glassy, articulate cleans to powerful, growling overdrive with ease. The one-piece neck with a nut width of 1 11/16″ is a joy to play. Overall, this vintage Gibson guitar is in beautiful condition, with only minor nicks, dings, and some finish checking. It’s a super clean example with no breaks or repairs.
Includes the original Gibson black chipboard case with plush red interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working condition.
The pickups and electronics are completely untouched and original — no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All components are 100% correct and factory-original.
