We present an all original 1964 Fender Stratocaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster is coming directly from the widow of the original owner here in Denmark. We purchased it from her and her husband purchased it in the local music store in Denmark back in 1964. So this is a uncirculated Fender Stratocaster that is completely factory stock with no breaks or any repairs.
Overall, this Fender Stratocaster has been played/well loved since 1964 and you can see it and definitely hear it. Lots of resonance in the body and neck. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with clay dots that features the most beautiful Birdseye maple neck. The original One-Line Kluson tuners are in perfect working order. The weight is fantastic with great balance and it has a mix of two Black bottom and one Grey bottom pickup. All pickups are balanced with a great tone and soul. The guitar also comes with its original and rare 4-ply celluloid green pickguard with white top.
Over the years it’s gotten a sizable amount of playing spots on the back and sides where paint has been. The headstock is clean as it can be including the “spagetti Logo” The neck is fantastic with some playing spots. The original frets are okay, and there is still life left in them invaliding the original nut. Just a stunning pre-CBS Fender Stratocaster that is amazing all the way.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Hagström export hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
