1964 Martin 00-18 – Natural
We present an original 1964 C.F. Martin 00-18 made in Nazareth, PA.
This beautiful sounding flat top features original natural lacquer finish, mahogany body and neck, spruce top, dark rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This C.F. Martin 00-18 still retains the classic older style and was built at the old factory just before C.F. Martin moved later in 1964.
The features including the “long saddle” rosewood bridge and the tortoise celluloid outer binding and pickguard. The tuners are individual Grover Sta-Tites mounted on the typically rounded-edge headstock. It is way more lightly constructed than later ’60s examples and has a very lively sound. It’s a truly lovely flat top guitar that is very well preserved over the years with typical play-wear. It has minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Just had a neck reset so the playability is perfect. The original finish still shines and looks great.
Comes with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
