1964 Martin 00-18 – Natural
We present an original 1964 C.F. Martin 00-18 guitar. Crafted in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
This beautifully resonant flat top features the original natural lacquer finish, a mahogany body and neck, spruce top, and a dark rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This C.F. Martin 00-18 retains the classic vintage design and was built at the original factory just before Martin relocated later in 1964.
Key features include the distinctive “long saddle” rosewood bridge and tortoise celluloid outer binding and pickguard. The tuners are individual Grover Sta-Tites mounted on the traditionally rounded-edge headstock. It is significantly lighter in construction compared to later ’60s models, delivering a very lively and responsive tone. This is a truly exquisite flat top guitar, exceptionally well-preserved over the decades with typical play wear, including minor nicks, dings, and cosmetic imperfections. The neck was recently reset, ensuring perfect playability. The original finish remains glossy and visually striking.
Includes the original hardshell case, with all latches and handle in excellent working condition.
