1965 Fender Jaguar – Sunburst
We present an original 1965 Fender Jaguar in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
Overall, this lovely L-series ’65 Jaguar is in clean condition but light cosmetic wear such as marks, nicks and dings. No breaks or repairs. The original Sunburst finish looks vibrant and strong.
It features an alder body and a maple neck with a veneer rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot inlays. The maple neck is very clean with a comfortable C-shaped profile. The original frets have plenty of life left. All six original Double Line Kluson tuners are intact and turn smoothly. The two original single-coil pickups are well-balanced and sound great.
Originality
This ’65 Fender Jaguar is all original except for a newer nut, otherwise it’s just as it left the Fullerton factory in 1965. It even comes with its original tremolo arm.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original non-logo black Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle arein perfect working order. The previous owner had attached a homemade Playboy logo inside the case, which can easily be removed. Bu t we will leave it as is.
