1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
History
This fantastic ’65 Jazzmaster comes directly from the family of the original owner.
Condition
Overall, this lovely L-series Jazzmaster is in excellent, very clean condition. It shows light cosmetic marks. No breaks or repairs. The original Sunburst finish looks vibrant and strong.
It features an alder body and a maple neck with a dark veneer rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot inlays. The maple neck is very clean with a comfortable C-shaped profile. The original frets and nut have plenty of life left. All six original Double Line Kluson tuners are intact and turn smoothly. The two original single-coil pickups are well-balanced and sound great. The original tortoiseshell pickguard has shrunken a bit over the years and it features the two original witch hat knobs.
Originality
This ’65 Fender Jazzmaster is 100% original throughout, untouched just as it left the Fullerton factory in 1965. It even comes with its original tremolo arm, bridge cover and adjustment key, as well as the matching number hang-tag.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original black non-logo Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
