1965 Gibson ES-125T – Sunburst
We present an all original 1965 Gibson ES-125T in its original Sunburst finish, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this 1965 Gibson ES-125T model is in very good condition. It shows nicks, dings, and other cosmetic play-wear, and the one-piece mahogany neck has a mark from resting on a strap inside the case. It is an early 1965 model, as it still features the 1-11/16″ nut width. The gorgeous Sunburst finish is complemented by bound top and back with cream binding. A strap button has been added on the side.
This Gibson ES model delivers warm, jazzy, blues-like clean tones with the famous Gibson P-90 pickup. It is a particular example with low action, providing easy playability all the way down the neck. The original frets still have plenty of life left, including the nylon nut.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1965.
The pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
