The Cherry finish is still strong Red with no fading. This Gibson features 1-piece slender mahogany narrow neck with nicely aged cream binding & black side-dots. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays. Original frets shows no wear. Kluson Deluxe tuners are in perfect working condition. Neck is straight & truss rod is in good working condition.
The solid mahogany body is also in 1-piece. Gibson “Lyre” chrome tremolo tailpiece & Nickel ABR-1 bridge with adjustable nylon saddles. In 1965 Gibson is going from nickel to chrome hardware.
