1966 Fender Mustang – Red
We present an original 1966 Fender Mustang in its original Red finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1966 Fender Mustang is all original except for a replaced nut — the original nut is included. Otherwise it’s just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1966. It features a straight neck with well-preserved original frets and a beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard adorned with pearl dot inlays. The guitar showcases a classic vintage aesthetic, complete with nicks, dings, finish checking, and other authentic cosmetic wear. The neck and headstock remain exceptionally clean. Structurally, the guitar is solid with no breaks or repairs. It even includes the original tremolo (whammy) bar.
The pickups and electronics are entirely original and untouched — no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. Everything is correct and factory-spec.
Includes the original Fender hardshell case. All latches and the handle are fully functional and in excellent condition.
