1966 Gibson SG Junior – Polaris White
We present an all original 1966 Gibson SG Junior in its original Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This particular vintage guitar is especially unique, featuring a full-face pickguard and a Maestro Vibrola. Overall, this Gibson SG Junior is in excellent condition, with some nicks, dings, and typical cosmetic playwear. The original Polaris White finish remains strong, highlighted by beautiful finish checking. This SG Junior also features a bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays. The original frets and nut are in great shape, showing plenty of life left. There’s a vintage music store sticker on the back of the headstock — it can easily be removed, but we’ve chosen to leave it as is.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1966.
The pickup and electronics remain completely untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All components are original and correct.
Includes the original black chipboard case, which is in rough condition.
