1967 Fender Coronado II – Olympic White
We present an original 1967 Fender Coronado II in its original Olympic White finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
It’s definitely not everyday that we come across a custom color Olympic White Coronado II guitar with black bindings and matching headstock. Overall, the guitar itself remains structurally sound with no cracks, breaks or any repairs. The guitar has minor cosmetic wear on the body. Gorgeous finish checking around the body. The beautiful Olympic White finish has faded into a more yellow-ish color some places more than others. Featuring a bound maple hollow-body with bound f-holes. The maple neck is straight with some lovely play-wear and with a beautiful bound dark rosewood fingerboard with block inlays.
Originality
This stunning ’67 Fender Coronado II is all original except for a newer nut, newer frets and newer correct saddles – otherwise it’s just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1967. It even comes with the original whammy bar. The 2x original DeArmond single coil pickups are well-balanced and sounds lovely. The 6x original Fender tuners turns smoothly. The original pickguard and knobs are all intact.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with the original Victoria Luggage Hardshell Case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
