Description & Specifications

1967 Fender Coronado XII – Firemist Gold Metallic

We present an all original 1967 Fender Coronado XII in its original Firemist Gold Metallic finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

Condition

It’s definitely not everyday that we come across a custom color Firemist Gold Metallic Coronado XII (12-string) version with white bindings and matching headstock. Overall, the guitar itself is in fantastic clean condition – structurally sound with no cracks or any breaks. The guitar has minor cosmetic wear on the body. Gorgeous finish checking around the body. The beautiful Firemist Gold Metallic is still strong and haven’t faded much over the years. Featuring a bound maple hollow-body with bound f-holes. The maple neck is straight with some minor play-wear and with a beautiful bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays. The original frets and nut have plenty of life left.

Originality

This rare ’67 Fender Coronado XII is 100% original throughout, just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1967. The two original DeArmond single coil pickups are well-balanced and sound lovely. The original Fender tuners turns smoothly. The original black pickguard and knobs are all intact.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original Victoria Luggage hardshell case.
