1967 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard – Cherry
We present an all original 1967 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
History
This incredible 1967 Trini Lopez comes directly from the original owner, who has had it since 1967. It includes the original hang tag and Gibson paperwork.
Condition
We are confident that this 1967 Gibson Trini Lopez Standard is the cleanest example currently on the market. An exceptional vintage find that looks as if it left the factory yesterday. This well-preserved guitar is incredibly rare in such near-mint condition. The Cherry finish remains vibrant and has barely faded over the years.
Originality
The guitar is 100% original throughout — nothing has ever been altered on this beauty. It’s factory stock, just as it left the Kalamazoo factory in 1967. It features two original Gibson “Pat. Nr. Sticker” humbuckers that sound fantastic and are well balanced. Also included is the original Trini Lopez tailpiece in clean condition, paired with the Gibson adjustable Tune-O-Matic bridge. The original set of 6x Kluson double-line tuners are in perfect working order.
Crafted with a laminated maple body and a stunning one-piece mahogany neck, this vintage Gibson guitar also features a beautifully dark, bound rosewood fingerboard with pearloid inlays.
Pickups, electronics, and wiring are completely untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes complete with its original black Gibson hardshell case with yellow lining. All latches and the handle are fully functional.
