1967 Martin D-18 – Natural
We present an original 1967 C.F. Martin D-18 in its original Natural finish. Made in Nazareth, Pennsylvania.
This may appear to be a classic, standard-looking D-18 — but it offers remarkable power and projection. It’s in stunning, exceptionally clean condition with no crack repairs whatsoever. Only a few minor dings and surface scratches are present. Overall, this is an outstanding vintage example that is incredibly rare to find in such pristine condition.
This model features a solid mahogany back, sides, and neck. The top is notably fine— possibly Red Spruce or Engelmann — adding to its tonal richness. The headstock showcases a beautiful rosewood overlay with the C.F. Martin & Co. decal logo at the top. Original rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The fingerboard is adorned with graduated dot inlays. Frets show virtually no signs of playwear. The original bone nut and saddle remain intact. Tuners are original Grover “Patent Pending” Rotomatics.
This guitar has been meticulously cared for. No strap button has ever been installed on the neck heel.
Includes its original hardshell case with a newer replacement handle.
Repairs that has been done by a professional Luthier:
- Original bridge has been sanded, so it has the perfect action and the best playability you can get.
- One crack repair on the side of the body.
