Description & Specifications

1968 Fender Coronado II – Wildwood

We present an all original 1968 Fender Coronado II in its rare and original Wildwood finish, with a matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

Structurally, the guitar is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. The original finish displays light playwear, minor nicks, dings, and typical cosmetic wear on the back. Stunning finish checking throughout the body complements the unique Wildwood grain, giving the guitar a beautiful and distinctive aesthetic.

The neck is straight with excellent action and responsiveness. It features a bound rosewood fretboard with pearl block inlays, and the frets show minimal wear —plenty of life remains. The original single-coil pickups deliver a strong, well-balanced output. This is a truly beautiful, fully original vintage guitar, even retaining its original whammy bar.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1968.

Pickups and electronics are untouched and fully intact. No broken solder joints, no rewound pickups — everything is original and correct.

Includes the original hardshell case. All latches and the handle are intact and fully functional.
