History
This is one of the last Blackface Deluxe Reverb Amps that was shipped out in 1968. The tube chart is indicating April 1967 but since the untouched original power transformer code is indicating the 2nd week of 1968, that means that ultimately this amp was assembled out in early 1968.
Condition
Cosmetically this awesome Blackface Deluxe Reverb Amp is so clean! It has been serviced with new capacitors and resistors so it run perfectly. The black tolex is overall exceptionally clean with only some small nicks and dings. The chrome face plate is also clean, with all the writing is clearly visible and have barely faded at all. The grill cloth is in stunning condition with few spots wear but overall pretty clean. The original knobs are all intact and in good condition and turns smoothly. The amp is perfect and sounds incredible good.
Originality
The original and legendary AB763-circuit has been serviced with new capacitors and resistors so it can run perfectly otherwise original. It features the original 12″ Fender speaker and all tranformers are original to the amp as well. It comes with the original Fender leather cover.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter: Toroidy Step-Down Transformer 230V/110V – 200VA
