Description & Specifications

1968 Fender Telecaster – Blond

We present an all original 1968 Fender Telecaster in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California, USA.

History

This 1968 Fender Telecaster was originally purchased in the early 1970s from a local music store — fittingly accompanied by a 1970s Fender hardshell case.

Condition

Overall, this Telecaster is in excellent, exceptionally clean condition, with only minor nicks, dings, and light cosmetic wear. It features a lightweight ash body and a beautifully figured, super-clean maple cap neck. The original frets are in fantastic condition with plenty of life remaining. The factory Fender tuners are fully functional and in great shape. It still retains its original cloth wiring throughout the circuit. No breaks, no repairs—completely structurally sound.

Originality

This CBS-era Telecaster is 100% original throughout – completely untouched since it left the Fender factory in 1968. It even includes the original bridge cover. A truly outstanding example with a rich, pure vintage Telecaster tone.

The pickups and electronics are entirely original and unaltered, with no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups — everything remains intact and correct.

Comes with the original 1970s Fender hardshell case. All latches and handle are fully functional.
