1968 Gibson ES-330 TDC – Cherry – Long Neck
We present an original 1968 Gibson ES-330 TDC in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson ES-330 TDC is all original except for a professional refret, which includes a new nut. Otherwise exactly like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1968.
In 1968, Gibson began producing ES-330 models with a longer scale length. This guitar is the long neck version (same as the ES-335), making it more rare and, for many players, more comfortable.
It is acoustically resonant — the fullness of its unplugged tone translates beautifully through the P-90 pickups. The one-piece mahogany neck features a comfortable medium profile and a 1 9/16″ nut width. The bound rosewood fretboard with block inlays is stunning. The original Kluson Deluxe double-line tuners remain intact and turn smoothly with their original white buttons.
The “Gibson” logo is inlaid in pearl on the headstock face. The original chrome Gibson Tune-o-Matic bridge is present, along with the stock pickguard, switch tip, pickup covers, and black hat knobs. Overall, this vintage Gibson guitar is in great condition, showing honest play wear, with some nicks, dings, and scratches on the back.
The pickups and electronics remain untouched and fully original, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. Everything is original and correct.
