We present an original 1968 Gibson Hummingbird in Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This beauty has a big sound, round and full with deep rumbly bass. Even more with a lot of resonant tone and caring power. The mahogany neck is straight and plays wonderfully all the way up and down without any buzz or issues. The honduras mahogany back and sides are in great condition with no repairs. There is a little tiny crack on the back, but it’s only superficial.
Overall, this flat-top is in excellent shape with few small nicks and dings here and there and other cosmetic wear. A few lines of beautiful finish checking and a few dings appear on the guitar. This vintage Gibson has cream/ antiqued binding on top and back. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with large parallel pearloid inlays. New handmade bone saddle instead of adjustable ceramic saddle. Also a new handcrafted bone nut. All work done by a professional luthier
- Width at nut: 1 9/16″.
Comes complete with its original Gibson hardshell case with yellow interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.Call or e-mail for more details
