1969 Fender Mustang Competition – Burgundy
We present an all original 1969 Fender Mustang Competition in Burgundy finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1969 Fender Mustang is in excellent shape and it’s ready to be played. This model have become tough to find and especially in Burgundy. This is the most sought after color for that model. This Fender guitar has that killer punchy and plucky tone that you will expect from these vintage guitars.
The finish is very clean and strong but does show some soft and beautiful finish checking, nicks, ding and minor play wear. It features C-shape maple neck and dark rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots. The original frets show very little wear and there is with plenty of life left. It even comes complete with its original whammy bar and bridge cover.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original Hardshell Case. One latch is broken otherwise the case is in perfect working order.
