Description & Specifications

1969 Fender Mustang Competition – Red

We present an all original 1969 Fender Mustang Competition in its original Red finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.

Condition

Overall, this ’69 Mustang is in excellent condition, showing only minor nicks, dings, and cosmetic wear. The pearl white pickguard remains intact. The original frets and nut show minimal wear and have plenty of life left.

Originality

This early ’69 Mustang Competition is 100% original throughout, just as it left the Fullerton factory in 1969. Both original pickups sound fantastic — clear, well-balanced, and dynamic. The set of six original kluson tuners operate smoothly and still retain their original tuner buttons. Comes with the original tremolo arm and bridge cover.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order. The leather strap inside the case has been replaced.
