Description & Specifications
1976 Fender Princeton Reverb AB1270 – Silverface
We present an original 1976 Fender Princeton Reverb AB1270 – Silverface. Made in Fullerton, California.
History
This Silverface-era Fender Princeton Reverb comes directly from the original owner. Since Fender did not stamp a date code on the tube chart during this period, we instead refer to the serial number A616040, which indicates that the amplifier was built and assembled in 1976.
Condition
Overall, this beautiful Princeton Reverb is in excellent condition with only minor wear on the black Tolex. The silver faceplate is exceptionally clean, including all the stencils, which are fully visible and intact. The six black ‘witch hat’ knobs are in good condition with no cracks. The grill cloth is fully intact, with no holes or notable wear, and features the original plastic Fender logo.
Originality
This 1976 Princeton Reverb is all-original, retaining the untouched AB1270 circuit. It features the original 10″ Fender speaker, which is completely intact and unmodified. The original tube chart is present and in excellent condition. It comes fitted with a newer 3-prong power cord.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is required. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
