1976 Fender Telecaster Custom – Sunburst

We present an all original 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This vintage Telecaster is in exceptionally clean condition and comes complete with its original matching hang tag, polish cloth, and the iconic ashtray bridge cover. Cosmetically, it shows minimal wear — just a few light nicks and dings typical of a well-preserved vintage instrument. The maple neck is straight, the action is low, and the guitar plays smoothly across the fretboard.

The 1976 Telecaster Custom lives up to its reputation. Its ash body delivers a rich, resonant tone with plenty of clarity and depth. While not featherweight, the body is well-balanced, contributing to its superb playability. The maple neck features a 7.25″ radius maple fretboard with its original 22 frets, all of which show minimal wear and offer plenty of life. The original nut is still in excellent condition.

This model features the classic Telecaster single-coil pickup in the bridge position, paired with a Fender Wide Range humbucker in the neck — offering a versatile, full-spectrum sound. Both pickups are strong, clear, and well-balanced. The original 6-saddle “Pat. No.” string-through bridge provides excellent sustain, while the Fender “F” stamped tuners ensure stable and accurate tuning.

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1976.

All electronics and wiring are completely untouched — no re-soldered joints, no modifications, and no rewound pickups. Everything is 100% original and correct.

Includes its original Fender hardshell case, with all latches and handle in perfect working order.
