1977 Gibson ES-335 TD – Walnut
We present an all original 1977 Gibson ES-335 TD in its original Walnut finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This iconic vintage Gibson semi-hollow electric guitar is super clean and features a beautifully figured top and two original humbucker pickups that deliver the classic Gibson semi-hollow tone these guitars are known for. Overall, if you’re looking for a pristine example of a ’70s ES-335, this could be the one.
This guitar has likely not seen much use, and there is only very minimal cosmetic wear. The late ’70s Gibson ES-335 TD features coil-tap functionality, allowing the humbuckers to produce a “single-coil” sound. The 3-piece maple neck is smooth, and the original frets and nut are in excellent condition with plenty of life left. The setup on this piece has low action, so it plays like a dream and sounds like a dream. This guitar has likely not seen much use, and there is only very minimal cosmetic wear. The chrome hardware and the trapeze tailpiece are also in excellent condition.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1977.
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
