1960 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1960 Fender Champ amplifier Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This beauty is simple, elegant, and clean enough to satisfy both collectors and serious players.
This vintage Fender Champ features its original lacquered tweed covering and the legendary 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much purer than the Champ. This studio favorite delivers incredibly dynamic and glassy tube tone that ranges from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a simple twist of the single volume knob.
The Champ has been well cared for over the decades and retains its original 8″ speaker, which has just been reconed. The circuit has been freshly serviced with new capacitors and resistors to ensure perfect performance. Both transformers are original. It comes with a new 3-prong power cable.
Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in excellent condition. The tweed has aged beautifully and evenly, with original nailed-in feet and even the original leather handle intact.
To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
