1960 Fender Princeton Amp Tweed 5F2-A – Narrow Panel
We present an original and early 1960 Fender Princeton amplifier tweed 5F2-A – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Princeton features the larger cabinet version, providing increased headroom. It’s in gorgeous condition with typical cosmetic wear consistent with its age. The Princeton has been carefully maintained over the decades and is equipped with the original Oxford 8″ speaker, which has been reconed.
The circuit has been professionally serviced with new capacitors and resistors to ensure optimal performance. It is fitted with RCA and Sylvania tubes and retains the original transformers. This amp offers a simple, elegant, and clean tone that satisfies both collectors and serious players. All channels function perfectly and deliver incredible sound. A modern 3-prong grounded power cord has been installed, along with death cap removal and a newer leather handle.
To keep it as original as possible, a step-down transformer is recommended. We have these available and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
