We present an all original and 100% complete 1961 Fender Stratocaster in its original Blond finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
History
This exceptional custom color pre-CBS ’61 Fender Stratocaster is without a doubt a collectors dream that have been in a collection for decades. It is without a doubt the best and cleanest example on the market. This is the first time this guitar is publicly available for sale. It’s backed up with matching number hangtag and all the case candy. If you want the best of the best slab board from Fender’s golden age, then this is the one. To come across a package like this is very rare.
Condition
Overall this spectacular pre-CBS Strat is in excellent and clean condition with no breaks or any repairs. Just a well-kept piece of Fender history. The original custom color Blond finish on the ash body is absolutely gorgeous. Not only does it look amazing, it’s truly a fantastic player. Very minor nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. it features a beautiful c-shape maple neck with a fretboard that has an incredible grained slab board rosewood you rarely see. The headstock and decal is very clean as well.
Originality
This 1961 Fender Stratocaster is 100% all original. Just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1961. Even comes complete with the original tremolo arm and bridge cover, as well as the original strap, polish cloth and matching number hangtag. It’s all there! The 3x original black bottom single-coil pickups are very strong and balanced. The 6x original Kluson single-line tuners are original and turns smoothly. An amazing custom color Fender Stratocaster from Fender’s golden age.
Pickups and the electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
Comes with its original Hardshell Brown Case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
