1963 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst

We present an all original and early 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This 1963 pre-CBS Fender Jazzmaster is absolutely stunning. Overall, it shows some minor belt “buckle rash” nicks, dings on the back and sides and other cosmetic wear. It features the original one-line Kluson tuners, C-neck profile with dark rosewood fingerboard and clay dots. The original black bottom pickups are very balanced and sound incredibly good. The original frets are perfect with plenty of life left.

Soundwise, this Fender Jazzmaster is so powerful, resonant and extremely versatile – it is everything you would expect from a guitar produced in Fender’s golden age period. Exceptional example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster with “spagetti logo”.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes complete with its original Fender brown tolex hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
