Description & Specifications

1963 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst

We present an all original, early 1963 Fender Jazzmaster in a Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.

This pre-CBS 1963 Fender Jazzmaster is absolutely stunning. It shows minor belt buckle rash, small nicks and dings on the back and sides, and other light cosmetic wear. It features original one-line Kluson tuners, a C-shaped neck profile with a dark rosewood fingerboard, and clay dot inlays. The original black-bottom pickups are well-balanced and sound exceptional. The original frets are in excellent condition with plenty of life remaining.

Sonically, this Jazzmaster is powerful, resonant, and highly versatile—everything you would expect from a guitar built during Fender’s golden era. An outstanding example of a pre-CBS Jazzmaster with the original “spaghetti logo.”

It’s 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1963.

Pickups and electronics remain completely untouched and intact—no broken solder joints, no rewound pickups. All original and correct.

Includes the original Fender brown tolex hardshell case. Latches and handle are fully functional.
