Description & Specifications

1963 Gibson SG Junior – Polaris White

We present an all original 1963 Gibson SG Junior in its original Polaris White finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This Gibson SG Junior features a beautifully dark rosewood fretboard with pearloid dot inlays and two “3-on-a-strip” Kluson tuners. Overall, the guitar is in excellent condition, with only minor nicks, dings, and typical cosmetic play wear. The original frets and nut still have plenty of life left.

The original Gibson P-90 pickup sounds incredible — strong, dynamic, and full of character. There’s remarkable resonance in the lightweight, one-piece mahogany body. Acoustically, it’s impressively lively and clear. It absolutely roars and delivers everything from glassy, articulate cleans to aggressive, growling overdrive. The one-piece neck with a nut width of 1 11/16″ is a joy to play.

It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1963.

The pickup and all electronics/wiring remain completely untouched and intact — no broken solder joints, no rewound pickup. All parts are original and correct.

Comes with a newer hardshell case.
