1965 Fender Jazzmaster – Firemist Gold Metallic
We proudly present an all original 1965 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Firemist Gold Metallic finish with matching headstock. Made in Fullerton, California.
This instrument is truly exceptional — a rare piece of musical history, a high-end collector’s item, and a phenomenal player’s guitar. Firemist Gold is one of the rarest custom colors Fender ever offered, officially introduced in 1965.
This Jazzmaster is 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1965 and includes its period-correct bridge cover and original tremolo arm. Cosmetically, the guitar shows only minimal wear — just a few minor nicks and dings on the front and sides, along with some small scratches and wear spots on the back. The neck profile and headstock face remain remarkably clean. The grey-bottom pickups are strong, clear, and well-balanced.
Sonically, the guitar is powerful, resonant, and incredibly versatile. It features a great-feeling, large C-shaped neck profile with dot inlays and binding.
All pickups, electronics, and wiring are untouched and completely original. No broken solder joints, no rewinds—everything is factory-correct.
Includes the original Fender black tolex hardshell case. All latches and the handle are fully functional and in excellent condition.
