1966 Fender Jazzmaster – Sunburst
We present an all original and late 1966 Fender Jazzmaster in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Fullerton, California.
Condition
Overall this stunning CBS-era Jazzmaster is in absolutely clean and pristine condition with minimal nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. Close to near mint condition. The original Sunburst finish is perfect and haven’t faded much over the years – it’s a typical ’66 Sunburst finish. The frets and nut are in great shape and have plenty of life left. It features an alder body with a clean and straight bound maple neck with rosewood fretboard and block inlays. The original tortoiseshell celluloid pickguard have shrunken a bit. The 2x witch-hat knobs are all intact.
Originality
This ’66 Jazzmaster is 100% original throughout – just like it left the Fullerton factory back in 1966. Nothing has ever been changed or modified on this beautiful guitar. It even comes with the original tremolo-arm. It features the 6x original double-line Kluson tuners that turns smoothly. The 2x original grey-bottom are well-balanced and sound stunning!
Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickups. All original and 100% correct.
It comes with the original Fender hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
