1967 Gibson J-45 – Cherry Sunburst
We present an original 1967 Gibson J-45 in its original Cherry Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Condition
This 1967 Gibson J-45 is in excellent condition and delivers an exceptional tone, featuring its original adjustable rosewood saddle. Overall, it shows only a few minor nicks and dings, some light finish checking, and typical cosmetic wear. The acoustic guitar boasts a select spruce top with a beautiful mahogany back and sides. Structurally, this Gibson remains completely sound with no cracks repairs or breaks to the body or neck. A fantastic-sounding and exceptionally clean vintage flat-top acoustic!
The original frets have plenty of life left, eliminating any need for replacement. The truss rod functions perfectly, with ample room for adjustment.
Originality
This gorgeous J-45 ADJ is all original except for an added strap button and two new side dots. Otherwise it’s just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1967. The tuners are 100% original to the guitar and are correct for this period, as Gibson sourced tuners from a Japanese manufacturer during the Kluson factory strike.
Includes its original chipboard case. All latches and the handle are fully functional.
Repairs that has been done by a professional Luthier.
