1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard – Goldtop
This is an all original and early 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Overall, this Gibson Les Paul Standard Goldtop is in near mint condition, with only extremely minor nicks, dings, and scratches on the back. It even comes with its original tags, case key, paperwork, and original case candy.
This early 1969 Gibson Les Paul Standard features desirable 1968 specifications, including a long tenon, one-piece mahogany neck, and one-piece mahogany body. The neck plays beautifully and features excellent frets that appear nearly new with plenty of life remaining. It also boasts a stunning dark rosewood fingerboard with block inlays.
Everything remains structurally sound, with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. All electronics function perfectly and sound exceptional.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1969.
The pickups and internal electronics/wiring are untouched and fully intact—no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. Completely original and correct.
