1974 Gibson ES-335 TD – Sunburst
We present an all original 1974 Gibson ES-335 TD in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This semi-hollow body is a great-sounding instrument and is in mint condition with no breaks or repairs. The stock humbuckers are powerful and well-balanced. Acoustically, the tone is authoritative and clear — qualities that translate beautifully through the pickups.
The bound rosewood fretboard features pearloid block inlays. The original frets are like new. It retains the original Kluson Deluxe double-line/double-ring tuning machines, all of which turn smoothly and hold pitch as they should. The Gibson label is clean, with clearly printed text and an imprinted serial number on the back of the headstock.
The bridge is the original chrome Gibson Tune-o-Matic. The original chrome trapeze tailpiece is intact, as are the black hat knobs, stock pickguard, switch tip, and pickup covers.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1974.
Pickups and electronics remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.
Comes with its original case, featuring a black exterior and plush yellow interior. Latches and handle are also intact.
