1979 Gibson ES-347 TD – Tobacco Sunburst
We present an all original 1979 Gibson ES-347 TD in its originalTobacco Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
The Gibson ES-347 TD was introduced as the ES-345 was phased out. This model is a higher-end semi-hollowbody from the ES series, featuring coil-tapping pickups and a tunable tailpiece. Overall, this Gibson is in excellent, clean condition with only minor play wear. There is just slight tarnishing on the gold hardware. A truly clean example of the Gibson ES-347 TD.
This Gibson semi-hollowbody features a figured maple top and back, a maple neck with an ebony fingerboard, mother-of-pearl inlays, and a multi-bound Custom headstock. The original Tobacco Sunburst finish is as clean as it gets, with no fading. No breaks or repairs of any kind. The original humbuckers from this era are hot and sound fantastic.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1979.
Pickups and all electronics remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no rewound pickups. All components are original and correct.
Comes with its original Gibson hardshell case with red interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
