Description & Specifications

1980 Gibson ES-335 Pro – Cherry

We present an all original 1980 Gibson ES-335 Pro in its original Cherry finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

This vintage Gibson guitar is a joy to play. Laminated maple body with a 3-piece maple neck. Beautiful dark rosewood fingerboard with dot inlays. Overall, this semi-hollow body guitar is in very good condition, with typical playwear on the neck, nicks, dings, belt buckle wear on the back, and other cosmetic signs of use.

It features the original 2 x Gibson “Dirty Fingers” pickups. They are well-balanced and hot, just as they should be. The original frets are still in great shape with plenty of life left. There are, of course, some dents in the frets, but they do not affect playability.

It’s 100% original throughout – Just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1980.

Pickups and electronics/wiring remain untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickups. All original and correct.

Comes with its original hardshell case with red interior. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
