1959 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1959 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
The circuit is completely original, with only two high-quality filter capacitors replaced. It even comes complete with a vintage tube set (RCA and Sylvania). This tweed amplifier delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The amp stays clean with just the right amount of overdrive and features a very tight bass response for an amp with the original Jensen P10R speaker.
The tremolo is bias-based, meaning it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls. It has a strong, smooth waveform with a good amount of intensity and chop on tap. The chassis is clean, as is the chrome control plate. The original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact, along with its original handle. The stock gray two-prong power cord is still on the amp as well.
The original alnico Jensen P10R 10″ speaker is intact, featuring a very clean green/blue frame, original bell cover, and a clean Jensen label. The original lacquered tweed is intact, showing light ambering and some minor scuffs and wear, primarily on the lower left corner of the enclosure and bottom of the amp. The original Oxblood grill cloth is tight, with two small burn marks.
To keep it as original as possible, a desktop voltage converter is included so it can run on 230 volts without any modifications.
The original tube chart is present and very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
