We present an original 1960 Fender Champ tweed 5F1- Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This little beauty is simple, elegant and clean enough to satisfy collectors and serious players.
This vintage Champ boasts its original lacquered tweed and hallowed 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much more pure than the Champ, and this studio favorite delivers freakishly dynamic and glassy pure tube tone that can go from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a twist of the single knob. The Champ has been well cared for over the decades and it’s stocked with its original Oxford 8″ speaker and the circuit has not been serviced, but runs perfectly. It even is stocked with its original tubes. Both Schumacher transformers are original as well.
Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in great shape. Overall, the tweed looks particularly good condition with uniformly aged, with original nailed in feet and even the original leather handle.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
