We present an original 1968 Fender Deluxe Reverb amplifier silverface in excellent condition. Made in Fullerton, California.
This 1968 Fender Deluxe Reverb is a very original circuit that has some few new capacitors and resistors so it can run perfectly. Stocked with fresh 6V6 power tubes and an assortment of new and vintage preamp tubes.
This Deluxe delivers the shimmering, balanced clean tone that has made these amps a mainstay in studios and on stages for decades. The amp has a clear and dynamic sound, delivering sparkling cleans that are a great effects pedal platform. Cascading into rich, lightly compressed crunch as you push the volume to 10. The Reverb is very lush with a long decay.
The preamp is loaded with the full compliment of the original blue Ajax molded capacitors, a key ingredient in the dynamic, musical tone of amps. The original speaker is a Fender Oxford 12″ with a clean blue Fender label on the alnico magnet and a frame that shows virtually no wear.
Cosmetically, the amp is very clean with stock smooth black tolex and silver sparkle grillcloth. The tolex is remarkably clean, with the only wear of note on the bottom front edge of the enclosure. All of the original hardware is present including the chassis straps, handle caps. The sphinx glides (feet) are missing. The original faceplate also shows sparingly little wear with bold graphics and stock witch hat knobs
The original tube chart is present as well and very clean with crisp corners and hand inked serial number.
Even comes complete with its original footswitch.
