1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior – Sunburst

We present an original 1956 Gibson Les Paul Junior in its original Sunburst finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Condition

Overall, this historic Les Paul junior is in very good+ condition with nicks, dings and other cosmetic wear. With the age in mind, it is actually in pretty clean condition though it have some marks and scratches. The original Sunburst finish is lovely and haven’t faded much over the years. It features a 1-piece mahogany body and 1-piece mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. All the plastic parts are intact and so is the knobs. The original frets and nut are in good shape. It plays fantastic and the wrap-around tailpiece intonate good.

Originality

This fantastic ’56 Les Paul junior is all original except for new tuner buttons. Still features the original, just the white plastic buttons has been changed. Otherwise it’s just like it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1956. It features the original dog-ear P-90 pickup that sounds absolutely world-class.

Pickup and the electronics/wiring remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.

Comes with the original chipboard case. Although it is in rough condition and we strongly recommend a diffrent case.
