1957 Fender Champ Amp Tweed 5F1 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1957 Fender Champ tweed 5F1- Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This vintage Champ features its original lacquered tweed and hallowed 5F1 circuit. It doesn’t get much more pure than the Champ, and this studio favorite delivers freakishly dynamic and glassy pure tube tone that can go from clean to fully saturated overdrive with a twist of the single knob. Newer leather handle and tubes. The 1957 Champ has been well cared for over the years and has just been serviced with some new capacitors, resistors and new 3-prong cord so it can run perfectly.
The original 6″ speaker was bad so we replaced it with a brand new 6′” Jensen speaker. Both transformers are original as well. Cosmetically, the original lacquered tweed is in very clean shape. Overall, the tweed looks particularly great with original nailed in feet.
It even comes complete with its original cover which is rare.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
