1957 Gibson ES-225T – Blond
We present an all original 1957 Gibson ES-225T in its original and rare Blond finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson ES-225T features a single cutaway, thin hollow body, one P-90 pickup, and a combination trapeze tailpiece/bridge (as seen on early Gibson Les Paul models). Overall, this vintage guitar is in excellent, clean condition and is 100% complete. It has been well cared for over the years, with only minor finish wear on the back of the neck, along with a few dings, scratches, and other light cosmetic play wear. The frets are original, with plenty of life remaining.
Solid and strong 1957 mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard and pearl dot inlays. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream plastic buttons are still in place and function perfectly. The single P-90 pickup in the middle position feeds into a single volume and tone control, with the output jack located on the side. A stunning vintage hollow body guitar with a classic tone.
It’s 100% original throughout – Just as it left the Kalamazoo factory back in 1957.
The pickup and electronics/wiring remain untouched and fully intact, with no broken solder joints and no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original and rare brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
