We present an all original 1957 Gibson ES-225T in its original and rare Blond finish. Made in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
This Gibson ES-225T is a single cutaway thin body, one P-90 pickup and a combination trapeze tailpiece/bridge (like early Gibson Les Paul models). Overall this guitar is in excellent clean condition and 100% complete. It has been well cared for over the years and it has some minor finish wear, on the back of the neck and a few dings, scratches and other cosmetic play wear. The frets are original and there is plenty of life left.
Good strong 57 mahogany neck with dark rosewood fingerboard and pearl dots. The original Kluson Deluxe tuners with cream plastic buttons are still in place and working perfectly. The single P-90 pickup in the middle position feeds to a single volume and tone control with the output jack on the side. Just a stunning hollow body that sounds great.
The pickup and the electronics/wiring are remains untouched and intact, with no broken solder joints, no re-wound pickup. All original and correct.
Comes complete with its original and rare brown hardshell case. Latches and handle are in perfect working order.
