1959 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1959 Fender Vibrolux amp tweed 5F11- Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender amp delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The tremolo is bias based, meaning that it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and has a nice strong pulse to it.
This 1959 Vibrolux amplifier is in great shape. The original Jensen P10R” is healthy and sounds perfect after it has been reconed. Few resistors, capacitors and a new 3-prong cord has been changed so it can run perfectly. Both Transformers are original as well.
Otherwise, the chassis is clean and also the chrome control plate and the original white lettering is intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact along with a newer leather handle. The original lacquered tweed is great, showing light ambering and some minor scuffs and wear and uniformly aged with original feet.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter: Toroidy Step-Down Transformer 230V/110V – 200VA
