1959 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel
We present an original 1959 Fender Vibrolux Amp Tweed 5F11 – Narrow Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender amplifier delivers the classic tweed tone with incredible dynamics, harmonic richness, and tonal clarity. The tremolo is bias-based, meaning it turns the tubes on and off at a rate and intensity set by the controls, and it has a strong, pleasing pulse.
This 1959 Vibrolux amplifier is in great condition. The original Jensen P10R” speaker is healthy and sounds perfect after being reconed. A few resistors, capacitors, and a new 3-prong power cord have been replaced to ensure optimal performance. Both transformers are original as well.
Otherwise, the chassis is clean, and the chrome control plate and original white lettering are intact, along with the stock chicken head knobs. The stock metal handle ends are intact, accompanied by a newer leather handle. The original lacquered tweed covering is in great shape, showing light ambering, minor scuffs, and wear — uniformly aged with the original feet.
To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer if you’re based in Europe. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
