1963 Fender Princeton Amplifier 6G2 – Brownface
We present an original 1963 Fender Princeton amplifier 6G2 – Brownface. Made in Fullerton, California.
This Fender Princeton amp is one of the best-sounding and most visually striking transitional Princeton models you’re likely to find. It delivers a pure, sweet tone for days and is a remarkably versatile amp, even without on-board reverb.
This Princeton has been serviced with some new resistors, capacitors, and a new handle. The original 10-inch Oxford CTS speaker has been professionally reconed and is in perfect working order. Overall, this vintage amp is in stunning condition, retaining its original tolex, faceplate, transformers, and grill cloth. Everything is in pristine condition.
The original tube chart is also present, very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number.
To keep it as original as possible, you’ll need a step-down transformer. We have these in stock and they can be purchased through Guitar Hunter.
