2016 Fender Custom Shop Journeyman 1962 Stratocaster 3-tsb relic.

We present a great looking and playing custom shop Stratocaster with a traditional Alder body, finished in a beautiful three tone sunburst .Authentically tasteful light aging, this finish will wear beautifully with time and develop its own character even further. It also allows the natural resonance of the body to sing and sustain much more effectively compared with other finishes.
The quartersawn Maple neck has a smooth finish and a AAA-grade (short for dark) Rosewood fingerboard. With a 7.25-9.5 inch compound radius and 21 6105 frets, the ’62 Custom Shop Stratocaster also features a 60 style oval “C” neck shape. It’s supremely comfortable and well balanced.
The guitar features a balanced trio of handwoundcustom shop single coil pickups; a Texas Special in the bridge, a RWRP Fat 50s in the middle and a ‘69 in the neck, each offering a distinct tonal flavor.
