1954 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5C3 – Wide Panel
We present an original 1954 Fender Deluxe Amp Tweed 5C3 – Wide Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
So much magical tone and mojo in this iconic 1×12″ guitar amp. There’s nothing like a Deluxe Tweed with the volume all the way up. This amp sounds excellent, with a very pure, immediate clean tone and a crunchy, compressed breakup when pushed. This 1954 Fender Deluxe amplifier is overall in very clean condition. There is very little cosmetic wear, and the cabinet is structurally sound and original.
It even has the original handle, though we do not recommend lifting it by the handle. A new prong cord and a few tubes, caps, and resistors have been replaced to ensure perfect operation. The original 12″ Jensen P12R Alnico speaker sounds amazing and is dated to the 44th week of 1953.
Both transformers are original. A step-down transformer (allowing it to run on 230V) is included to keep it as original as possible. The original tube chart is also present and very clean, with crisp corners and a hand-inked serial number. The ink/code reads “DE,” confirming this beauty was built in 1954.
The amp is fully serviced and ready to be played.
