1954 Fender Twin Amp Tweed 5C8 – Wide Panel
We present an all original and 100% complete 1954 Fender Twin Amp tweed 5C8 – Wide Panel. Made in Fullerton, California.
This incredible Fender amplifier model was introduced at the Namm Show back in 1952. It was the new highlight model from Fender that also later became one of the most sought after Fender Amplifier. This 1954 Twin Amp is so well preserved and completely original – just a truly pristine piece of history. Therefore it’s definitely a collectors grade amp, but also perfect for the studio. It delivers so much headroom with a warm and powerful sound. Everything is there and it will definitely fulfil any collectors or players dream.
The original Jensen speakers P12Q looks new and are in perfect working order. Both tranformers are original as well. As common with these big amps the original leather handel is broken, which is also the reason why Fender changed the handle from leather to plastic on the bigger amplifiers back in 1958. We will leave it as is, and let it be up to the new owner to change it to a newer leather handle.
Comes complete with its original cover which is very rare.
To keep it as original as possible you need a stepdown transformer. We have these in stock and can be purchased through Guitar Hunter. https://guitarhunter.dk/product/toroidy-ats300va-stepdown-converter-230-110v/
